🔥 Engine gaskets & seals
17-4 PH / Inconel / Ti gaskets, 0.10–0.30 mm. Precision horizontal
Photochemical etching for titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy and aluminium thin-gauge parts — engine gaskets, acoustic liners, heat-shield shims, sensor meshes and satellite waveguides. Full material traceability, calibrated sensors and AS9100-friendly documentation. Exported to Tier-1 aerospace suppliers since 2003.
Aerospace etching has three hard requirements: no heat-affected zone (HAZ recast on a laser-cut edge is a fatigue-crack seed); zero tool wear (one Inconel stamping die is $30k and must be re-cut every few thousand hits); flat sealing surfaces (gaskets, fuel-cell plates, acoustic-liner webs). Photochemical etching is the process that hits all three — and tolerates the wide alloy portfolio aerospace parts demand.
